    DojoNetworks was built from a simple idea: people deserve better.

    For founder Daniel “Dan” Myers, that idea has guided his work for decades. A loving husband, father, entrepreneur, and lifelong builder, Dan has spent his career creating technology businesses that solve real problems and put customer experience first.

    Long before managed WiFi became a must-have amenity in multifamily housing, Dan understood where the world was headed. He saw that connectivity would become essential to how people live, work, learn, and communicate, and he believed the companies delivering that connectivity needed to do more than install hardware. They needed to care deeply about performance, service, and trust.

    So he built a company around exactly that.

    Dan Myers’ Background in Technology and Internet Services

    Dan has been working in technology since 1980, with experience spanning networking, hardware, software, online applications, wireless infrastructure, and IT systems. In 1982, Dan build his first connected system, he built a BBS, named "The Wedge" from scratch, taking his off the shelf TRS-80 computer and writing all of the software which included complex system coding to make a computer do something it was never intended to do. Hundreds of people called into his BBS daily. He then attended Penn State university where he studied Computer Science and Electical Engineering. In 1994, he started developing websites and online applications, launched his ISP in 1996, and was an early pioneer in fixed wireless internet as far back as 1998. In 2000, he connected his first multifamily property with high-speed internet, more than 25 years before today’s connected-community model became the industry standard.

    What started as deep technical expertise grew into something bigger: a mission to bring high-quality, fiber-backed internet and ManagedWiFi to multifamily communities in a way that truly serves both residents and property teams.

    Today, that mission has made DojoNetworks one of the nation’s leading providers for student housing, conventional multifamily, affordable communities, and senior living. The company’s 100% customer retention over more than two decades speaks to something Dan has believed from the beginning: when you take care of people, they stay.

    The Innovation Behind Elemento®️

    Dan’s leadership has also shaped the innovation behind DojoNetworks’ proprietary Elemento platform, the operational engine behind its ManagedWiFi+® systems. Built as a single pane of glass, Elemento helps streamline deployment, support, and visibility for both DojoNetworks and its partners.
